mcgregor bowes

Mcgregor Bowes was established in 2010 by Chris Bowes to provide high quality architecture and considered construction safety advice.

Chris studied at the Mackintosh School of Architecture, qualifying in 1991. He is a chartered Architect and registered CDM Co-ordinator with over 25 years experience working in architectural practice and has worked in offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, London and Hong Kong. During this time he has worked in most sectors and has extensive experience of a wide range of projects, both large and small, refurbishment and new build, including residential, schools, healthcare, commercial and further education.

Chris has particular expertise and interest in the care, restoration and sensitive adaptation of historic buildings.

Immediately prior to starting McGregor Bowes, Chris worked with Campbell and Arnott, during which time he was promoted to the position of associate in 2003. During his ten years there he expanded his knowledge of traditional materials and techniques and was responsible for a range of high profile and award winning projects. These include work on some of Scotland’s most significant landmarks.

Please feel free to contact us to discuss any projects that may benefit from our input.
